Highlands is Hoppin’ while History is Happening!
Visit Kismet to Experience the Hoopla!

Kismet is kickin’ up its heels as history is being made with the historic Democratic National Convention taking place just down the street. No matter if you vote blue or red, you have to admit it has been a pretty cool year for politics – and it’s all coming down to the wire very soon! 

In honor of Denver’s 30 seconds of fame, Highland Square’s neighborhood community created an art project to celebrate.    

Local businesses, school children and community members got in the democratic spirit by participating in Art2Boot! Participants express their patriotism using  “loved” cowboy boots as art mediums. Art2Boot: Artisan Recycled Cowboy Boots in the Spirit of the West will be on display at Kismet and other shops throughout Highlands Square starting today, August 25, through the end of the month! Stop in at Kismet and experience fashion and art as one, and get a little late summer shopping in while you’re at it!  

Stressed about traffic & travel? No worries!

Don't forget that Highlands Square is easily accessible from Sheridan (both at I-70 and 6th Avenue), so no need to worry about the downtown Denver traffic.

Also, there will be a free shuttle running on Tuesday and Wednesday that circles between downtown hotels and the Highlands. You can catch our "Hop, Skip and a Jump" shuttle and enjoy a free ride into our neighborhood.
